Greetings Cards

All of my 5in x 7in cards are printed onto good quality cardstock, either White Linen 300gsm or White Silk 350gsm.  All are packaged with a 150gsm envelope inside a biodegradable cello bag to keep your purchase nice and clean, and are available for sale in The Flower Box Knighton

I've also started producing an Eco range of cards.  A6 in size (roughly 4.25in x 5.75in)  These cards are produced on a range of recycled card, with a lovely white or kraft 150gsm envelope and bound simply with a paper band.  The Eco card range is available to Purchase from Walkmill @No.7

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you see something you like. Please pop back again to see regular updates and if you have any queries please do get in touch.

Whimsical Birdy

One of my favourite cards. The bird is a simple watercolour painting that's been digitally overlaid onto a copy of a monoprint background of mine.  Printed onto 300gms white linen cardstock and supplied with a 150gsm kraft envelope.

Hello and welcome

A glimpse into my studio -  Hello there! It's taken me a while but I've finally started work on my online presence to accompany my creative journey.  To be honest this post is pretty much a place holder whilst I work on constructing the galleries and links to my online shop.  For a while it will remain the top blog post and I'll update it as I go along. Hopefully when all the construction work is completed the blog posts will be used to reflect where I'm at creatively and share some of my experiences. I have started work on my online shop (hosted by Sum-Up)  Eventually you'll find pages for cards, limited editions, originals and a full gallery listed at the top of my Home page.  These will detail the art work that is available and will provide a link to that item in the shop. If you'd like to just go straight to the shop then please follow this link here . I've no idea how many folk I'm likely to reach but hopefully it will be fun finding out, and please...

Our House

I had a little session in the studio a couple of days ago with the main aim of producing a birthday card for one of our grand daughters'.  That session proved to be successful and the outcome was both the required card and a new one for my 5 x 7 range (which I have already printed out and used for an 18th birthday card too)   As a result of this session I do also have a small series of acrylic paintings that I've played around with in a digital mock up in order to test how best to frame them.  I'm really liking how they might look.  Not sure whether to stick with black frames or try white and oak - we shall see.  Firstly though, I need to cut the mounts  accurately which is always a challenge. I'm intending to make these two originals available from Walkmill @no 7 over the next week or so, always presuming I can cut the mounts correctly of course. Thanks for reading Wendy xx

Snaps

I'm working away slowly in the background on a few bits and pieces so I thought I'd just share some photos. In no particular order. Drop me a line if you're interested in anything
